SICARS is a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to preserve and revitalize the Hog Hammock Community located on Sapelo Island, Georgia.

 

SICARS was founded in 1993 by Hog Hammock residents and nonresident descendants who wanted to gain control over the future of their community. SICARS was incorporated in 1994, has over 100 members, and continues to grow each year.
